The Title 1 Department is beginning the 2010-2011 school year with exciting new initiatives.  The Mac Mobile Labs are a valuable educational tool that will continue to be used with Title I students in Grades K-8.  All Title 1-eligible schools are equipped with 2 mobile computer labs, allowing each Title I student to work on their own laptop in a classroom setting.  Under the guidance of the classroom and Title 1 teachers, students work on grade-appropriate websites to further strengthen their math and reading skills.  Title I students in grades 6, 7 and 8 are receiving classroom libraries containing novels by popular children authors.  Selections are both fiction and nonfiction and appeal to a variety of reading interests.
