This year’s Fall Parent University session will be held on Saturday, October 16th at Midtown Community School.  The topic for this session is “Working Hand-in-Hand With Your Child.”  Title I Parents and children will attend the workshop together learning hands-on math games, reading strategies and make-and-take activities to strengthen comprehension skills, as well as introduction of the “We Both Read” book series that invites parents and children to share the reading of a story together.  Parents and children will work under the guidance of the Bayonne School District Academic Support Coaches for Literacy and Math.  The workshop begins at 9:30am.  Childcare is provided.  Announcement brochures will be sent home with students at the beginning of the school year.
