SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
EARLY BIRD WATCH – Schoolyard supervision will be provided from 8:30-9:30 AM for children who are enrolled in the camp and have WORKING PARENTS. An additional fee of $25.00 per child/per week is required for these services. Program services are contingent upon sufficient enrollment.
YOUNG CHILDREN’S PROGRAM – This program is for children ages 4-6. Parents drop off and pick up children each day at the 47th Street schoolyard entrance. Camp fees for all groups include a combination of arts & crafts, swimming, outdoor/indoor activities, Stephen R. Gregg Park playground and sprinklers. Children must be toilet trained and socially adjusted.
“THE ORIGINAL” MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP – Grades 4-8 – MUST REGISTER MONDAY- THURSDAY. Performances such as Annie, Beauty and the Beast, are examples of the type of shows the campers and staff will produce. The show will be presented to the campers and their families on the last day of camp.
SWIM PROGRAM – The Swim Program will be approximately two hours at Lincoln Community School. Children wishing to take swim lessons will be shuttled by school bus. Swim Lesson hours will be in the morning session, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, Monday & Wednesday, and Tuesday & Thursday. Afternoon swim will be recreational and run from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, Monday & Wednesday, and Tuesday & Thursday.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Pack BATHING SUIT, TOWEL, and LUNCH with child’s name on it everyday.
- Information regarding special programs will be sent home during the first week of camp.
(This usually includes Magicians, Clowns, Field Day, Fire Prevention, and Prizes for Talent Show, Pool Olympics, Basketball Shootout, and Homeroom Olympics.)
- Some Classes require additional fees for specially needed supplies. (I.e. Bowling)
- Age level means as of June 2010 / Grades refer to September 2010.
- Please indicate any special or medical conditions on back of emergency cards and registration cards.
- THE CAMP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE SCHEDULE CHANGES.
- A combination MASTER LOCK is recommended to secure camper’s belongings.
- NO WALKMAN’S or ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED IN CAMP.
