You want to get to Him… You Have to go through Me FIRST

Ralph, a senior attending East Brunswick High School has been picked on and bullied by a lot of students throughout the school. Even freshman bullied Ralph! Of course, students felt sorry for him but no one ever did anything about it because they were scared that something might happen to them or it may just ruin their reputation. After all Ralph didn’t have that many friends anyway. Until… Joshua Archibald transferred to East Brunswick High School.

Upon arrival to the high school Josh really did not feel comfortable in the high school… He HATED it! Josh could not wait to go to Cafe because it was the only period that he did not have to do class work in.

Finally, the bell rang and Josh was ecstatic that he could just relax for the 55 minutes that he had in cafe. After Josh got his lunch from the food stands, he went to find a seat. Josh saw this young man sitting all by himself and wanted him to have company because Josh does not like seeing anyone lonely. Josh sat by the young man and said, “Hi. My name is Joshua I’m new to this school what’s your name?”

As Ralph was about to begin this kid came from behind Ralph and said, “Yo Ralph gimmie 15 bucks.”
Josh responded back saying, “The banks across the street idiot!”

The kid responded saying, “Why go to one when I have one right here?”

Josh got up immediately and grabbed the kid and pushed him down until he got on his knees. The entire cafeteria was quiet. Josh then said, “You are not so tough when you are on the floor are you? Repeat this okay punk.

” The kid responded back saying, “Ok--aaay.” Josh said, “I will never bother, ask for money, or bully Ralph and I am aware that I am a jerk talking to him the way I have been.”

The kid repeated exactly what Josh had said saying, “I will never bother, ask for money, or bully Ralph and I am aware that I am a jerk talking to him the way I have been.”

The cafeteria was filled with tons of laughter and Josh said, “This better be the first and last time I have to do this!” (while letting go of the kid)

Then, Josh sat down by Ralph, and Ralph said, “Thanks Joshua! But you did not really have to do what you did because I am used to it.”

Josh responded saying, “Well you are going to have to get unused to it because I am here now!”

Ralph responded back, “Oh Thank God! I have always been doing what anyone else wanted and I honestly got tired of and I have been praying for it to stop and now it will finally stop! No one has ever stood up for me like that! YOU ARE MY HERO!!!”
