MP1-Honor Roll Congratulations! 15 of our Computer Graphics and Photography students garnered 18 regional level awards in the 2012 Scholastic Art Awards Competition. They received 9 Gold Keys, 6 Silver Keys and 3 Honorable Mentions. The students will be honored at a reception at the Montclair Art Museum on Feb. 15th from 7-9 PM. All 9 Gold Key winners will be forwarded to the National Level for adjudication. All national winners will be announced in late April. Way to go Miso and Coach Coyne! Congratulations to MCS 7th grader Quratulain Malik for capturing 1st Place and 6th grader Nathan Gonzalez for taking 3rd Place in the District Spelling Bee! Both students did an outstanding job. Special thanks is extended to their moderator Ms. Barbieri, Principal Mercun and Vice-Principal Dziubek for their support. Congratulations to Horace Mann's 8th grader Abner De la Cruz for coming in 2nd Place at the District Spelling Bee! He did such a wonderful job.
