The Bayonne School District Science Department is committed to providing students opportunities that enable them to acquire the skills necessary to be successful in STEM related careers. Through hands on, collaborative, and inquiry based coursework students will conduct scientific investigations and carry out engineering design projects related to their course of study. Students will engage in coursework encompassing the three disciplinary core ideas; Life Science, Earth & Space Science, and Physical Science. All courses are inquiry based with an emphasis on laboratory practice skills, scientific research, and the engineering design process.
