Register to Vote!
Democracy is not a spectator sport. It requires continual work to protect it and keep it strong. As a citizen, your active civic participation as a voter is essential in that process. In New Jersey, as a 17 year old, you can register to vote now and your voter registration will become active on your 18th birthday. If you are 18, register now so you can participate in the November election.
Eligible students can register by mail to vote in New Jersey by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your County Commissioner of Registration/Superintendent of Elections. You can also register to vote in person if you prefer. New Jersey offers online voter registration for eligible students.
To register to vote in New Jersey you must be:

a United States Citizen
-
at least 18 years old by the next election
-
a resident of your home county for 30 days before the election

FCC Funds the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), funded by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), helps low-income households pay for broadband service and internet-connected devices. Up to $30 per month may be applied to an individual’s local internet service provider. In addition, a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer.
