• Month of May

The National Education Association describes National Teachers Day on May 8th, “as a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.” This is certainly true for the professionals in Bayonne that are kind, patient, hard-working , and committed to the teaching and learning of our students.  They are both recognized and appreciated.

The enjoyment of May continues by celebrating our youngest learners in Pre-K and kindergarten.  They will be in the spotlight as they perform for their families and friends. Refer to the elementary school calendars for the dates for these special events.

We are in the fourth marking period. The students in grades 3-12 are reading their last novel for this school year.  I encourage you to have your child(ren) continue to read books during July/August. I will also be sending home a summer assignment for students to complete during these two months

“To those in uniform serving today and to those who have served in the past, we honor you today and every day.” –Unknown    Let us remember this as we celebrate Memorial Day on May 28th.

    Professionally yours,
