• November

The first marking period is ending both in the elementary schools and the high school. It is time for a teacher parent conference. Face to face communication with the teacher helps parents to plan out the learning process of their child. Teachers also get the chance to know more about the likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses of their students, which is only possible through a parent meeting. On the basis of this information, teachers have a better understanding of their students.

Make this parent teacher conference a priority during the last week in November. Dates are November 26th for Nicholas Oresko School and 27th for all other elementary schools. The date for the high school is November 29th.

November also brings us Thanksgiving. It is that time of year that we are thankful for all that we have and people in our lives. As John Fitzgerald Kennedy said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them”.

Wishing you and yours a beautiful Thanksgiving.
