Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am. to 4:30 p.m.WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION?
- Child must be 4 years of age on or before October 1, 2020 for Pre-K 4.(No exceptions.)
- Child must be 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2020 for Kindergarten. (No exceptions.)
- Immunization Record (and physical history form, if available).
- Birth Certificate and/or Passport
- Transfer from previous school (if applicable)
- Last Report Card (if applicable)
- High School Students must have transcript for all subjects
- Diploma (8th grade - if transferring into High School)
- Custody Papers (if applicable)
- Photo ID from parent
- On-line pre-registration confirmation sheet.
- Copies of three (3) current proofs of residency in parent/guardian’s name, showing current date and address. Acceptable proofs include documentation such as:
PSE&G Invoice
Cable TV/Internet/Phone bill
Water bill/Tax bill
Bank or credit card statement
Driver’s license or registration
Deed/mortgage statement
Health insurance statement***ALL COPIES MUST BE CLEAR AND LEGIBLE.***
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ALL OF THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS? You can pre-register your child(ren) but wait to complete steps 2 and 3 of registration until you have all of the required documents.
WHEN WILL REGISTRATION TAKE PLACE? Registration will re-open for all grades - Pre-K4 through 12 on July 7, 2020.
CAN I REGISTER IN PERSON? Not at this time. For the safety of our staff and the entire Bayonne Community, all registrations must be done electronically. No in-person visits will take place until further notice.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH SCHOOL MY CHILD(REN) WILL ATTEND? You will be contacted by phone or email by an employee of our Registration & Attendance Office to complete the process. It is imperative that you provide a valid phone number and email address.
