       The Woodrow Wilson School Mission is to provide ALL students with a positive and challenging learning environment which empowers them to become responsible and productive citizens of the world.
     
       Working as a partnership, the students, staff, parents, and community commit themselves to developing he social, emotional, academic, and physical well being of all children.  By developing critical thinking skills, communicated through literacy, fine arts, mathematics, technology and the sciences, the school is responsive to change in family, community, and the world.

    Academics:
     
       The basic curriculum at all grade levels includes reading, mathematics, English, science, and social studies.  Students Have technology training in the Computer Lab once a week. Sixty MacBook Pros allow each child to access a variety of programs and the Internet from each workstation. The school also has rolling technology carts available for use throughout the building which include Mac computers, printers, SmartBoards and projectors. Students also attend physical education classes art, and music.  All Curriculum areas address the Core Content Standards.
     
       Woodrow Wilson continues to expose students to the newest curriculum materials, while continually training our teachers to better meet the needs of our students.  Our teaching staff continues to attend in-service training sessions throughout the year to acquire new skills in all curriculum areas.  A special partnership  exists  between Woodrow Wilson School and Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey. This partnership enables our teachers to create original web sites, and the training helps provide our students with the necessary resources and skills for tomorrow's technologically advanced society.
