    National History Day
       -   The Bayonne Board of Education Social Studies Department is proud to announce it's continued participation in the National History Day contest. National History Day, or NHD, employs a contest format to empower students to study history through analysis and hands on research. Incorporating a variety of formats including film, web design, and creative writing, students have been able explore key moments and concepts from our past while developing essential critical thinking and research skills for the future.
          -   NHD is mandatory for all 8th grade students.
