Steps for Clearance and Registration

  1. All students must have a current athletic physical on file with their House/School Nurse. 
  2. All students wishing to participate in athletics must complete the online athletic registration process with their legal guardian.

  3. Please note that submission of forms does not guarantee immediate clearance. 
  4. Once a student-athlete is registered and cleared for participation, they are eligible to attend team tryouts.

County Prep/High Tech Students

  1. NON BHS students must first complete an online registration application in order to verify residency.  If you are unsure or the process, please visit our Registration Website or contact the District Registration Office at registration@bboed.org. They will explain the process for registering as a Bayonne resident and issue a BOE student ID number (if you did not previously attend BBOED).  Please provide the number to the Athletic Trainers so you can be added to the athletic database. 
  2. You must provide your most recent report card or transcript indicating the name of the school you attend to verify current grade and enrollment.
  3. After you have received a BBOED student ID, you may continue with the online athletic registration.
  4. Enter CP or HT for your homeroom number.
