A Message To Our Parents & Students...
Math is an excellent vehicle for the development and improvement of a person's intellectual competence. The Department of Mathematics in Bayonne offers challenging courses from grades Kindergarten to 12th grade. The mathematics books that students work with are Go Math (Grade K - 5) and Big Ideas Mathematics (Grade 6-HS), both of which include online textbooks, interactive practices, and video tutorials. In addition to the textbook supports, Math Department also offers online supports.
The Bayonne High School Math department offers College Board Advanced Placement course such as AP Pre Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A after appropriate prerequisite course work is successfully completed.

MATHEMATICS PROGRAM VISION
We want to make the love of mathematics more contagious. We whole-heartedly believe in a strong foundation in math proficiency enhances the most important skills of problem solving and logical thinking.
