CURRICULUM STANDARDS

Research supports when educational structures prioritize productive collaboration it builds trust, reduces conflict, enhances commitment, supports accountability and promotes positive results. The mathematics department meets regularly at math meetings, leadership meetings, professional learning communities, Hudson County Curriculum Consortiums, online collaborating forums, and teacher shadow teacher opportunities, coaches meetings, formal meetings along with informal hallway walks and talks with staff. The Director of Mathematics strongly believes in an open communication policy that welcomes questions, comments and concerns with the common theme of "best interest of students".
