Project Support

Project Support Counselors are a dedicated team of School Psychologists, Social Workers and Licensed Counselors who provide vital counseling services across all schools in our district. They primarily support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) who have mandated counseling services, addressing their social-emotional needs through individual and small group sessions, as well as crisis intervention.

With a deep commitment to student well-being, these professionals tailor their support to each student’s unique needs, always aligned with the goals outlined in the IEP. Through services such as classroom observations, behavior support, teacher collaboration, and active participation in IEP meetings and parent conferences, Project Support Counselors help create a strong network of care around each student.

Working closely with students, families, teachers, administrators and other support staff—including Social Emotional Counselors—they provide additional layers of care when needed, promoting emotional growth, building resilience, and promoting positive relationships.

Through compassion, collaboration, and expertise, Project Support Counselors make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families, helping to create an inclusive and supportive school environment where every student can thrive.
