A Message To Our Parents & Students...

The Department of Special Services is dedicated to providing students with disabilities a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. Through individualized services and supports, we address each student’s academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and physical needs, ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed. We work collaboratively with families, educators, and community partners to create inclusive, supportive learning environments where all students are empowered to reach their full potential.

Our team develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivers related services such as speech, occupational therapy, and counseling, and supports students in both inclusive and self-contained classrooms. By aligning instruction with each student’s unique learning profile, we ensure access to a rigorous and meaningful education that promotes growth, independence, and lifelong success.

Our overarching vision for our district is to build a culture of inclusion, equity, and excellence where all students are valued, challenged, and supported. The Department envisions a learning community where students with disabilities are celebrated for their strengths and empowered to thrive academically and socially alongside their peers.
