Speech and Language Specialists

School-based Speech and Language therapy may be provided as a related service to a student who is classified as "Eligible for Special Education and Related Services". Assessment by a Speech-Language Specialist is required. A student can otherwise be deemed "Eligible for
Speech-Language Services" without being classified if he/she meets the criteria as outlined in the New Jersey Administrative Code.
