The Media Arts program ignites a passion for visual storytelling, empowering students to craft compelling narratives across a dynamic range of mediums, drawing inspiration from visionary filmmakers. The curriculum fosters a holistic understanding of the art and craft through courses encompassing digital media production, cinematography, screenwriting, audio production, and film history. Students learn to harness the camera as their poetic eye, developing visual language and building immersive worlds to resonate with audiences. Embracing the director's role as both visionary and audience proxy, the program emphasizes a clear artistic voice and collaboration, aiming to spark a lasting creative fire and prepare graduates to contribute meaningfully to the evolving landscape of media arts.

Film as dream, film as music. No art passes our conscience in the way film does, and goes directly to our feelings, deep down into the dark rooms of our souls.

Ben-TV Segment: Jack Asks
Jack Asks is a fun and engaging segment produced by the Media Arts Department and featured during our live morning announcements. In this segment, Jack roams the school asking students a "Question of the Day"—ranging from light-hearted and humorous to thought-provoking topics. It’s a great way to spotlight different voices from around the school, share a few laughs, and bring our community closer together through spontaneous and often surprising answers.
