The Visual Arts program offers a comprehensive and progressive curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical skills, and personal expression across a variety of artistic disciplines. Students begin with foundational courses such as Art I, where they explore basic techniques and art history, and can advance through higher-level courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital design. Specialized tracks in computer graphics and photography allow for in-depth study using both traditional and digital media, while honors and portfolio-based courses provide opportunities for serious art students to develop their unique style and prepare for college or careers in the arts. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking, supported by experienced instructors and real-world applications.

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
