Welcome to the Department of Technology
The mission of the Bayonne Board of Education Technology Department is to enable students to solve real-world problems, foster critical thinking and innovation, and prepare for college and career as they meet the challenges of the 21st Century global society.

Cyber Security Awareness
In today's digital world, we increasingly rely on the internet to carry out daily tasks. However, with the vast amount of information and services available online comes a significant amount of risk. Cyber crimes are now often perpetrated by professional criminals seeking financial gain. The good news is that with some education, caution, and common sense, you can protect yourself from cyber crimes and stay safe online. We have compiled a range of resources to support staff, students and the community to protect themselves online and be cyber safe!

All support requests for district technology equipment, applications and/or online services should be submitted through our Web Help Desk ticketing system. Use your BBOED username and email password to log in.

Schoology
Schoology is Bayonne Public Schools’ learning management system. It is changing the way our teachers communicate online with students and families.
- Teachers may post assignments, messages and calendar items.
- Schoology allows students and teachers to engage in two-way conversations and class discussions.
- Teachers can easily share files and links with students, families and fellow teachers.
Staff log into Schoology using their bboed work credentials by visiting bboed.schoology.com
Students will be registered automatically to their teachers’ courses, and will log on with their school username and password. Students can login bboed.schoology.com
Parents and guardians can sign up through Schoology at schoology.com and then obtaining their child's Student Access Code which is provided by the classroom teacher.
