The mission of the Bayonne Public School District is to provide optimum learning opportunities for all students in a safe, secure, inclusive learning environment that fosters personal and interpersonal growth, lifelong learning and a strong sense of community. We believe that the district's mission can be accomplished when administrators, teachers, parents and the community collaborate as a team to accomplish its goals which are:

    Please join the Social Studies Department of the Bayonne Public Schools as we celebrate Black History Month by showing the film, Selma, a historical drama based on the Alabama voting rights marches of 1965.

  • Community Assistance Needed

    The BOE authorizes the School Business Administrator to pay the sum of $200 dollars to any person who is not an employee or relative of an employee of the Bayonne Board of Education, who provides credible, factual information that leads to the removal of a student illegally in our school district.
