AdLit offers a range of educational information and resources for both parents and educators to continue literacy development in our adolescent students.

The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) is the world's largest organization dedicated to the support and enhancement of library service to children.  From Caldecott Medal winning books and educational websites for kids, to informative articles for parents on literacy topics, this site has it all!

Khan Academy Language Arts is an online educational platform that offers a comprehensive and interactive curriculum for students to improve their language and literacy skills. The program covers a wide range of topics, including grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary, with a focus on personalized learning and mastery-based progression. Through instructional videos, practice exercises, and feedback, Khan Academy aims to help learners develop strong language abilities at their own pace.

Lit2Go is a free online collection of stories and poems in Mp3 (audiobook) format.  Many of the passages also have a related reading strategy identified, which is great for additional-at-home practice. Each reading passage can also be downloaded as a PDF and printed.

National Geographic Kids inspires young adventurers to explore the world through award-winning magazines, books, videos, and more!  This site also offers homework help, an article on how to write an essay, and a wide range of other items to get your child excited about reading!
