MyView Literacy is a comprehensive, interactive literacy program that provides a balanced approach to reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing using a collection of authentic reading texts and collaborative writing workshops.  Literary genres included within this program are broad and diverse, and allow students to share perspectives on, and learn about, different cultures and backgrounds.  This program is used in kindergarten through grade 5.

Novels are an important part of the ELA curriculum for students in grades 4 & 5.  Each novel has been carefully selected and aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Among novels, a variety of supplemental materials and internet-based resources are also used to drive instruction in the classroom to ensure mastery of the literacy skills being taught.
