Katrina Kleinmann - Left
Ms. Kleinmann started her musical career when she started learning piano in Kindergarten. In 4th grade she joined band as a saxophonist. Some of her favorite moments in Middle School and High School were performing and traveling with her friends in school and extra-curricular concert bands, choirs, jazz bands, and marching bands.
Because of music, Ms. Kleinmann has been able to meet and play with some pretty amazing people, traveling to and performing in: Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D. C., Boston, Indianapolis, Chicago, Hershey Park, and Italy (2xs!!)
Ms. Kleinmann received her Dual Bachelor's in Music Education and Saxophone Performance at West Chester University in PA, learning alllll the band and orchestra instruments. She currently enjoys taking jazz lessons (never stop learning!!), experiencing live music, mountain biking, cooking/trying not to burn things, and traveling to new places and cultures.
Ms. Kleinmann directs the bands and orchestras at Henry E. Harris Community School for grades 3-8. She also directs the Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo at Bayonne High School. HEH is getting ready for it's biggest group of musicians yet, soon preparing for the HEH Halloween Parade, HEH Tree Lighting Ceremony, and HEH Winter Concerts!! BHS Jazz will be participating in it's 3rd competitive festival season this school year. Follow the group on Instagram and Facebook at BayonneHSJazz for current news and upcoming performances!!
