• Health Education

  • The intent of a comprehensive health education program is to motivate students to improve their health, prevent disease, and avoid or reduce health-related risk behaviors.  Students will practice using proper health knowledge and skills to reduce high-risk behaviors and will also allow students to explore personal attitudes and beliefs about health and well-being.  Students learn how to take care of their minds, bodies, and their relationships with others by learning strategies aimed to reduce the chances of negative effects and consequences in their lives.
